Today's Gospel recounts the story of Jesus healing the blind man. These 3 Sundays of Lent I'm struck by Jesus and his desire to heal: body, mind, and spirit. He's not going to stop just with bringing physical healing and nourishment: the blind man and his sight, the woman at the well and her thirst for water, Lazarus and his returned life. Jesus goes further making sure they not only receive physical healing, but emotional and spiritual renewal as well. May we all be inspired by these stories during Lent and have a new urgency to be intentional with our own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, calling on the Lord to continue to renew us with his Love and Grace. In what ways can I participate in and prioritize my own physical, emotional/mental, and spiritual renewal this week?
